The mission of the Lifelong Learning Institute in Chesterfield is to provide lifelong learning opportunities for midlife and older adults. LLI provides education, fitness, and social activities for its members. We are a nonprofit organization and are exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
LLI is a learning community of peers who are committed to ongoing education and their own intellectual development. Members want to stay current, are curious about the world of ideas and are involved with their own learning. Some members even teach courses!
LLI Chesterfield provides daytime courses taught by volunteer instructors for adults 50 and better. There are 14 categories of courses, and an active annual membership of $150 per person allows LLI members unlimited access to most of the courses in the Spring, Summer and Fall sessions!

Inclement Weather Policy
When Chesterfield County Schools are closed due to weather conditions, all LLI classes will be cancelled for the day. When Chesterfield County Schools have a one hour or two hour delay, LLI classes will begin at 10AM. Any classes scheduled to start before 10AM are cancelled for the day, and classes scheduled at 10AM or later proceed as scheduled.
